I'm back!

Hello everyone, a lot has happened in my life lately, and I feel an urge to release some feelings and creativity into this blog. So I'll have a few posts up later on today!

Take care.

SORRY!

Hey people, well, I'm terribly sorry about this. But my laptop is dead... it died over a month ago, and I have tried resuscitating him in multiple ways, but to no avail. Furthermore, this has crippled my capacity to keep going with my photography for the time being, until I get a new computer. In the meantime, all I can say is, enjoy my old material, and if you're interested in my photos, just click on the "photography" picture that's on the right-hand side of my blog to see all the posts that have proper photos in them.

Take care kiddies.

Awesome Skittles Commercial

Careful with the elevator! Part 2

So, this colombian dude, that I don't know directly found the elevator warning sign just as hilarious as me. And it's just funny to hear someone else with a colombian accent speaking about this same subject matter, hahaha, hilarious.

Going to work

He wishes for the cloths of heaven - William Butler Yeats

Had I the heavens' embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half-light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.

I must say, that is the most beautiful poem I've ever read in my whole life. I'm not into poetry much, I'll read random poems but never more than a dozen per year. But, this time, like never before I was emotionally moved by the text. It hurt. It was that profound to me.

Midsummer

Midsummer was fun. We did a lot of stuff, like dance around the pole thingy:

Do a 4-3-2-1 pyramid.

Be totally gay:

And other stuff...

We also found a dead squirrel whose name was Errol:

Some male, and female nudity. Unfortunately I didn't manage to capture the female one:

Eddie just shaved off a few years off of his life expectancy by eating a hot dog full with all the cooking grease we had built up. And left to burn for a long while. Yummy:

Cheers

Untitled #4

Paris - Belleville

Screw the Eiffel Tower, cities are full of facades, and we have to stop thinking that the world is just peachy.

Strokes

This first photo was a pain in the ass to take. Since I didn't have a tripod with me I had to use my man-bag and my jacket to raise it just a bit off the floor and keep it steady. Since these shots require long exposures, I was standing there, alone cos my friends were two blocks away waiting for some people, with my camera on the ground.

Then a big dude comes up to me. He's hiding something behind his back, he asks for money.
I look down at my camera, I look at the guy, look at the camera again, and think to myself, "should I grab the camera and run, ignore him completely or give him money?". I wasn't sure if he had a knife or a gun behind his back, or maybe it was just cerebral palsy, whatever the case, that arm behind his back was making me uneasy.

I gave him 50 cents, he has thirsty afterall. "Gimme more", replied the guy. "Shit" I thought to myself, "he's gonna milk me for all I'm worth knowing I'm in a very disadvantegous position right now". While I'm debating what to do, another buddy of his comes up to me. Now I was really screwed. I give the dude 2 euro. He smiles and says "Merci!". Smiles, I smile back, they leave. Relief.

I hate situations like that. It's very flight or fight.

Don't You Walk Away From Me!

Update

Hi, just wanted to give you guys the status of my blog, and my life in general. I'll make this brief cos I'm a busy man.

First of all, sorry about not posting anything for 2 weeks but I spent most of the time outside Sweden. As you've probably noticed a lot of my pics are from Paris. And there's LOADS left, and I do mean LOADS!

While we're talking about my photographic backlog, there's a 1 month delay right now. I still have some thursday dinner pics I wanna process, then there's some Uppsala pics for my Gitx and her two friends Andrew and Laurent. Also, some of juan's Skiva and Student pics, then there's Paris which is like 5 photoshoots back to back. So yeah, I'm swamped like wut. So please, your patience will be rewarded. I plan on spending these bright sunny days getting my LCD monitor tan, all for you guys ;-)

Another thing, some people have told me they would like to comment on my pics but are too afraid to. Please people, I don't run on gasoline, I need those comments to see if I'm doing well or if I could improve something. So don't hesistate to comment on the blog.

Peace out.
