My Roomies
Just wanted to introduce to everyone my roommates and neighbors. The first one on the left is Rowena, she's from Ireland and lives in my flat. She speaks like über fast and sometimes it might be hard to understand her. She also gives me alcohol, so it's all good.
Then we have Katri who's from Finland. She curses like a pirate, like for example she keeps saying that she wants to fuck a dog in the ass. wtf? And she also gives me alcohol, which like I said, is good. She also likes to eat happy meals when going to McDonalds.
Thirdly, the guy with the baseball cap is Chuy, or Jesus, and he's like the funniest guy ever, and he is a music whore, which means that he likes every single song ever created. And when I say that he likes it, I mean that he knows the lyrics and everything. Oh yeah, and he plays guitar, so I have a guitar buddy. And finally, me.
Love you guys

New Blog Counter!
Yeah baby! I found a spiffy new blog counter! Now I can see how many people are actually bored enough to check out my blog. If you're curious, just check the bottom of the page and you'll see how many people have viewed this blog, starting from today. I'll be telling you who logged in first when it occurs, although that might be next july.
FYI, the counter doesn't take into account my views. So it only counts everyone else who comes here.
Until then, take care.

Photography and Photoshop
Well, I finally decided to take up photography. I'd been a bit reluctant because I couldn't afford a decent digital slr until now. Prices are dropping faster than Sony's stocks, and I'm about to bite the bullet. I have my eyes set on a Canon 400D.
But for now, I'll have to make due with my standard point and shoot camera, and I'm learning the ropes when it comes to photshop postprocessing. Let me give you guys an example. I took the following picture in april through a balcony in the Musée d'Orsay in Paris.
Yeah, the weather sucked. I know. But the picture seemed a bit interesting nonetheless. The edge of the wall on the left side was tilted and wasn't completely vertical and the rail at the bottom wasn't horizontal either, so I corrected that. And then I used my photoshop magic to get the contrast out, and fix all that flatness in the colours and that uninspiring greyness. Et voila!
Look at the clouds! Blue White Red, like the french flag, and I didn't do that, that was in the picture btw.
Hope you like it, until next time.
Cheers

What's up with hanging up in movies?
Ok, I'm sorry, but I get soooooo pissed when I'm watching a movie or a show, and somebody hangs up without saying "bye" or something. I mean really, if I'm in the middle of a conversation with my pal and he hangs up just like that, I'd get pissed, it's like totally rude. I don't understand why directors keep making such a glaring omission, I mean, is it because it makes the movie flow better? I don't know, but it sure as hell doesn't mimic real life.

More proof that Bush is a sock puppet
Hey kiddies, just wanted to confirm what is blatantly obvious to 99.99999% of the world's population. Bush is just insanely dumb, and he can't answer a simple question without spilling the beans.
President Bush was in the midst of explaining how the attacks of 9/11 inspired his "freedom agenda" and the attacks on Iraq until a reporter, Ken Herman of Cox News, interrupted to ask what Iraq had to do with 9/11. "Nothing," Bush defiantly answered.
ooops....
click here for the article AND video
oh, by the way, totally unrelated to the 9/11 incident. Here's some more fun stuff.
